Adam arrives in Mauritius and announces the Rope on the Boat Competition Winner
A message from Mauritius!
Adam has successfully completed the latest leg of the Mini Globe Race, arriving safely in Mauritius aboard Little Wren.
We’re pleased to announce the winner of the Rope on the Boat competition: Lucy Mackenzie, whose guess of 675 meters was just 3 meters shy of the actual total, 678 meters.
Thanks to everyone who took part, the challenge raised £220 in support of Adam’s fundraising efforts for the Ella Dawson Foundation, helping young adults live well with cancer.
Adam now sets course for a new continent, heading into the powerful seas along the African coastline. The Mini Globe Race entrants are preparing for a challenging sail towards South Africa aiming to arrive in time for Christmas. Little Wren at only 19ft will navigate gigantic waves and challenges sailing conditions around Cape Horn.
