38 Days at Sea… Adam arrives in French Polynesia

Adam has dropped anchor about 15:00 (UK) or 05:30 local! After an epic 4,000 nautical miles across the Pacific, he’s arrived safely in Atuona Bay, on the island of Hiva Oa in the stunning Marquesas. After some sleep, Adam has officially cleared customs in Hiva Oa without a hitch, thanks to the smooth handling by Tahiti Crew.

The MGR rules for Leg 2 requires a mandatory 8 days stopover in the Marquesas before setting course for Tahiti. It’s time to rest, recharge, and soak in the raw beauty of the islands.The Marquesas are stunning, but it’s not all palm trees and sunsets — there’s still serious work to do. Now the focus shifts to the windvane repair. It’s not going to be an easy fix while at anchor.
